How to order materials
In this section, we will cover the basics of material ordering. Your position may require certain task and those will be addressed as you go through that training but before we dig into the specifics we want to make sure you understand the basics.
Ordering materials including the "outs"
One major part of ordering is making sure the correct amount of materials are being ordered . First you will see if the job is a cash or insurance job. Once this is determined you will get a square count from the contract on cash bid job, and off of the insurance summary for insurance jobs. Once you have determined the amount of shingles needed you will use the spreadsheet we have provided to you to enter the values of the materials needed for each job/order.
Creating A Task

Creating A Invoice
Invoices will be sent to homeowners at the end of the process. This is a very specific task for the billing department but we do want you to fully understand the capabilities of the program.
Sending Emails in ROOFlink
Emails are the best way to communicate with homeowners. This allows you to not only communicate with ease through Rooflink but also you will be able to track these emails. They will all be stored in one central area. If you need help do not hesitate to ask.
