You are the captain of your own ship when you are made an IPM. You have a team of people working with you that will look to you for advice and to make tough calls. Dont worry though! The ability to make those calls will come with time. Your team will consist of OPM's (Outside Production managers) and crews. Your OPM's will be your eyes and ears on every job. They will meet with the homeowners and make sure that the crews have everything they need while on the job site. During the build the crews should be calling the OPM that is working that project to get any additional items they may need such as wood to replace rotted decking. These guys are there to make sure that the customer is happy as the install progresses and will do the final walk around with them at the end of the day.
