Certification is the necessary next step in any roofing sales reps education. We all know that selling something you know is much easier than something you don’t. Knowing the answers to tough questions can be the essential key to closing those difficult customers. No matter if you are wanting to take your shingle game to the next level, dominate a new market or close more deals then educating yourself is where you will start. We have created this program with those that go above and beyond in mind…those that will not settle for just enough but demand excellence. As you study the lessons take notes and review sections as needed. You will find short test throughout the program to access what you have learned so far. When you are finished with this program you will be truly an expert in your field!
Commission Structure
All certification levels need to be completed to be a Sales Manager or General Manager. Aside from that there are opportunities to earn more commission on certain project types if the certification has been done.
What to expect
The first steps of each program will consist of learning the product and how to properly handle, store and transport that product. Next we will explain each accessory used in that system so you will have a full understanding of its application in regards to a waterproof system. Once you have learned the system and how to measure for the product you will test on the first section. Following successful completion of section one we dive into what to do with those measurements…How to turn the numbers into an accurate material list that you can use to quote a project and order material for your project. After you can successfully measure, quote and order the roofing system you are training on you will take the final exam. This test will be the final step in certifying you for the roofing system of your choice.
